Green Earth Management can identify the physical soil properties, soil structure, soil content, colour, soil horizons and drainage features. Soils are characterised on the distribution of clay, silt and sand/gravel. Knowledge of the site soil is vital in understanding the earthworks and foundations which are required for the proposed structure or development on site; this is to avoid any instability or drainage issues. Characterisation can be undertaken by surface and sub-surface exploration and laboratory testing.
