Geotechnical-Investigation

Green Earth Management are able to investigate the geotechnical properties of a site. A geotechnical investigation begins with a desk study and a site investigation. This is in order to obtain information on the physical properties of the soil and geology which underlies a site, along with details about the groundwater. This will allow suitable earthworks and foundations to be designed for proposed structures, in order to avoid any instability or drainage issues. A geotechnical investigation will include surface exploration, such as digging trial pits and subsurface exploration, including in-situ tests and laboratory testing of soil samples retrieved.
